We are excited to announce the upcoming Cumbre Community Sports Expo, which will be held at the Cumbre Sports Facility from the 10th to the 14th July 2024. The event will run from 10am to 4pm each day and will feature a range of activities aimed at promoting sports participation, skill development, and community engagement.

The expo will provide a platform for vendors and local sports clubs to showcase their offerings and promote themselves to the community. In addition to stalls, the expo will also feature free clinics, a junior competition (The Rockingham Cup), and exhibition matches in Futsal, Netball, Basketball, and Floorball. We welcome clubs from other sports to participate as well.

Supported by the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries, this initiative aims to bring the community together through sports, fostering teamwork, skill development, and increased participation. By collaborating, networking, and raising awareness of the diverse sports offerings within the community, we hope to encourage more people to get active and involved in sports.

Each day of the expo will focus on a specific sport, with the final day featuring exhibition matches in all four sports. We invite sporting organisations, clubs, and individuals to join us in making this event a success and to help promote the benefits of sports to the community.

Vendors are encouraged to join in this event and are offered a designated area at the venue to showcase your brand or activity. Please inform us of any specific requirements you may have and we will gladly help accommodate them. Please email nestor@cumbrefc.com to discuss more

The expo will feature free clinics for individuals and a competition for teams. We will also host exhibition games on the last day of the expo.

Wednesday 10th July:
– Floorball clinics at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm
– Floorball team competition from 10am to 3pm

Thursday 11th July:
– Basketball clinics at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm
– Basketball team competition from 10am to 3pm

Friday 12th July:
– Netball clinics at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm
– Netball team competition from 10am to 3pm

Saturday 13th July:
– Futsal clinics at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm
– Futsal team competition from 10am to 3pm

Sunday 14th July:
– Exhibition games in various sports throughout the day
