Welcome to Cumbre Sports, where we offer an exciting women’s and mixed netball social league every Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Friday in the mornings. This league provides a fun and competitive environment for players of all skill levels to come together and enjoy the sport. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to netball, our league offers a fantastic opportunity to stay active, make new friends, and have a great time.

League Schedule:

The games will take place every Tuesday and Thursday evenings, between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 

Friday day leagues is played between 9:15am and 10:30am

Registration and Fees:

To participate in our netball league, each team is required to pay a non refundable registration fee of $50 per team. 

Game Fees:

Match fees of $77 per team must be paid either before the start of each match. Upfront season payment available. 

­ Forfeit, No-Show, or Team Withdrawal Fee

Forfeit, no-show, or team withdrawal fees cost $77 per game payable on the first game. This fee is used towards the last game of the season. Following the initial forfeit or no-show, teams must replenish their bond prior to participating in future games. This policy ensures that teams are held accountable for their commitment and discourages repeated instances of non-participation. By imposing these fees and requiring bond replenishment, we aim to maintain a fair and competitive environment for all participants.

Please Note:

– The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full.

– In the event of a team forfeit or no-show, the opposing team will be declared the winner and the forfeiting team will be obligated to cover the forfeit or no-show fee

Walking Netball

Expression of interest for Walking Netball is now open. To register your interest, please fill out the Expression of Interest Form. Once we have enough participants, we will organise tournaments for these sports.

MEMBERSHIP

Players are required to become a member of the club/facility to participate. Some memberships are paid and some are free.

We recommend all our sporting participants to get the Player membership which is inclusive of insurance. The cost of this is $80 per year. This is not compulsory but recommended.

Teams are required to nominate a team manager who will be the main point of contact.

• 13 weeks/games in total (2 weeks of grading, 11 league games including a final)
• First week 15 and 17 October 2024
• Last round of 2024 17 and 19 of December 
• First round of 2025 7 and 9 of January
• Final round on 21 and 23 January 2025

Fees 

• $127 Team nomination for new teams & and existing teams who have lost the forfeit deposit. This is includes $77 forfeit bond
• $50 for existing teams who haven’t lost the forfeit deposit
• Match fee $77

Payment Options: 

1. Upfront payment (preferred): $1001 ($77 match fee x 13 games) This can be a one off payment or split between players. 
2. 1 Weekly payment at counter: Payable before the kick off of each game in one payment. 
3. Weekly individual payments using Team Pay: You can pay weekly for the game getting each player to pay for their share by using the Team Pay App. See management for more info.

Important Dates: 

• A spot has been offered to all existing teams which have until the 12th of September to confirm their spot and pay for the team nomination 
• After that spots will be offered to new teams
