Nominations
Teams and individuals can nominate at any time throughout the year.
Nomination forms are available below.
Registration
When registrations open, nominated teams will be invited to register and pay a $100 nomination fee.
During this period, we’ll also work to connect individual players with teams or help form new teams where possible.
Fees
We keep it straightforward — one team fee per season.
- Total team fee: $1,700 per season
- Less nomination fee: $100
- Balance payable before season commencement
This fee covers all costs associated with league participation, including:
- Competition administration
- Venue hire
- Umpires

All basketball competitions follow the FIBA Official Basketball Rules.
Any variations will be outlined in the Cumbre Sports Facility Competition Rules (Basketball).
Additional Expectations:
All participants and patrons must comply with:
- Cumbre Sports Facility Rules of Entry and Code of Conduct
- Cumbre Sports Facility Policies, including:
- Safeguarding
- Zero Tolerance
- Privacy
- Photography
- Smoke-Free
To ensure safety and enjoyment, players are strongly encouraged to have:
- Basketball shoes – suitable for indoor courts and impact movement
- Appropriate protective gear or supports (if required)
- No jewellery, watches etc. If unable to remove any piercings, they must be covered with sports tape.
- Personal Accident Insurance – recommended due to the inherent risks of sport, helping cover medical or income-related costs if injury occurs
